Loaded with wheat for Toledo, The Algomarine is downbound on the Detroit River at Windsor on a snowy December morning. She was built in 1968 as the Lake Manitoba for Carryore Limited by Davie Shipbuilding in Lauzon QC. She was converted to a self-unloader at Port Weller in 1989 for Algoma Central.
