Under storm clouds Inland Lakes Management's "Alpena" passes by Sarnia downbound and loaded in the St. Clair river. The Alpena makes a few trips a year through here and it a rare sight in these parts, her short length, cargo's of cement and steam power drive make it a unique catch. This is the only ship still sailing for Inland Lakes Management, the rest have been in layup as cement storage barges.

    Nice catch, Shaun. Always good to see her. After she off loaded in Cleveland, I got her 2 days later upbound on the Detroit River under similar skies.
